THIS DEVICE IS DESIGNED TO COOL AN OVERHEATING BOILER DOWN.
IT WORKS LIKE AN IMMERSION HEATER IN REVERSE WHERE COLD WATER IS ALLOWED TO RUN THROUGH IT AND OUT TO WASTE IF THE SOLID FUEL BOILER STARTS TO BECOME OVERHEATED.
IT IS GENERALLY USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A THERMOSTATICALY CONTROLED BLOW DOWN VALVE (PT NO WAM-316)TRIGGERED BY A THERMAL SENSOR.
