The Cottesmores are both fine examples of a classic Spanish basket.
Model 223 is designed for use in a hole in the wall or if the fire needs
viewing from all sides. Model 224 is intended for use standing against a
wall. As with all fires in this range, The Cottesmore has a powerful 2kW
fan heater with thermostatic control to provide a constant comfortable
temperature. On all models the flame effect can be used with or without
the heater, so you can have a cheerful focal point for your home
whatever the weather.

The Burley Cottesmore fire basket is designed for free-standing installation into a fireplace inglenook opening or sat on a hearth as a stand-alone feature. They simply require plugging in to enjoy the flickering glow effect and when needed, you have the added benefit of a in-built fan heater at the bottom of the appliance that has 1kW and 2kW heat settings.

On the Burley Cottesmore there is a choice of a Black or Black with Brass legs finish. The Cottesmore has a coal fuel effect over a orange casing which will give a warming glow when switched on. Standard bulbs are fitted which can be easily accessed when they require replacing.

Operation of the flame glow and heater settings are carried out by the manual controls discreetly located at the bottom of the basket next to the fan convection heater. Free-standing installation ensures the Burley Cottesmore electric fire basket can be fitted into a variety of situations.
