Picture shown is of the finished product, we supply the unfinished board only, customer to finish on site.
USE A MASK WHEN WORKING ON FIBRE BOARDS.
1. THE BOARD HAS TO BE CUT TO FIT INTO THE TOP OF THE BOILER.
2. CHAMFER THE FOUR CORNERS USING EITHER A STANLEY KNIFE OR A JUNIOR HACK SAW BLADE.
3. TRIM THE SIDE EDGES OF THE BOARD TO ALLOW IT TO DROP INTO THE TOP OF THE BOILER AND REST ON THE FIBRE SEAL.
4. WHEN THE BOARD IS IN THE TOP OF THE BOILER, REFIT THE TOP PLATE AND MARK THROUGH THE 90MM DIAMETER CENTER HOLE WITH A BLACK MARKER.
5. REMOVE THE BOARD AND CUT OUT WITH A HOLE SAW OR DRILL A PILOT HOLE AND USE THE JUNIOR HACK SAW BLADE.
6. ADD A MARK TO THE BOARD TO MAKE SURE THAT IT FITS IN THE CORRECT PLACE.
7. TO STOP THE BOARD BREAKING ACROSS THE NARROWEST POINT CUT THE BOARD INTO TWO PIECES USING A DIAGONAL CUT.
MARK THE BOARD SO THAT IT IS KEPT IN ITS CORRECT ORIENTATION AS AT THIS POINT IT WILL ONLY FIT INTO THE BOILER AND LINE UP IN ONE POSITION.
VAC UP ANY DUST AFTER CUTTING THE BOARD.
